Hi everyone,

I'm a UK flyballer, and I'm training to be a Veterinarian too. For my third year of study, we complete an elective project (dissertation) and I have chosen to complete mine on the health of flyball dogs. I've competed in flyball since 2004, so when it came to choosing a project, that was the first thing I thought of. .

Anyway, for part of my project, I am looking into the effects of running on rubber mats. I am going to do a series of investigations into friction and impact on matting, but it seems that there are so many different types out there.

I have contacted a few companies in the UK about the types of matting we run on over here, but I would love to expand the study to look at the mats you use in the US and Canada.

Would anyone be able to provide me with websites/details of who are the main suppliers of the surfaces that you race on?

Thank you :D

Katie

I know that our club uses Soft Spun antifatigue matting. I'm not sure where they purchased the matting. I don't have any information on i-Flyball for matting but the Flyball Home Page has a link: http://www.matsinc.com/. She has a contact there too: Please speak to David Cassady at 800.628.7462 ext 244 or dcassady@matsinc.com. I'm not sure how up to date this is.
